We are looking forward to meeting an enthusiastic, highly motivated class teacher to join our experienced and supportive team.  Whether you have taken a break and are planning to ease yourself back into the profession; wanting to reduce your contracted hours to explore other areas of professional practice, or something in between, we would really like to hear from you.

We are looking for a team player to work closely with their job share and KS1colleagues, to provide the best quality learning opportunities for our children, who is able to:

  • Understand and apply the Statutory Framework for the early years foundation stage September 2021 and current National Curriculum requirements for KS1
  • Teach EY’s phonics and/or be willing to receive phonics training using the school’s dedicated SSP.
  • Engage and promote child initiated learning both inside and out
  • Take the time to get to know each child and their individual learning needs
  • Recognise and build upon the strengths of every child, taking responsibility for accelerated progress
  • Commit to supporting the school’s Christian ethos, where with thankfulness, courage and love, we strive to improve heart and mind
  • Include creativity and enthusiasm in their daily practice and take pride in creating a Quality First Teaching based learning environment
  • Share their warm personality, “can do” approach to life, good sense of humour and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Join the team, where we all do a little bit of everything.

In return we can offer:

  • Happy, polite and well behaved children who are a pleasure to teach
  • A well-resourced and attractive learning environment including our newly redeveloped outdoor learning area
  • Commitment to your professional development
  • A truly supportive whole school community with a focus on mental health and well-being.
