Sika Class - Years 5 and 6 (Upper Key Stage 2)
Year 5 and 6 are a time of growing independence and exciting new challenges. Rooted in our school values of thankfulness, courage and love, the children begin to take greater ownership of their learning and look ahead with confidence to the next steps in their school journey. As they prepare for transition, they continue to build strong friendships, develop resilience, and carry our values with them—shaping not only who they are now, but who they are becoming. By the end of year 6 our children leave Chilton Foliat Primary School with a deep understanding of the impact of living out our school Christian vision and values. As a result, they are well-rounded, confident and able to contribute positively to a wider community. They want to continue to thirst for knowledge and strive to improve heart and mind enjoying a diverse curriculum in their next educational setting.
